Television actor Sudhanshu Pandey criticized the organizers of Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Awards 2020 as they failed to follow the norms related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. At a press conference, the actor said that it was quite sad to see that no one was even wearing a mask inside the venue.
A video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram has the caption, “The hard truth but yes we need to be true to ourselves. Though he was awarded last night but was upset that no protocol or rule was followed at an award function. No sanitizers or masks⁉️ #sudhanshupandey“. In the video, Sudhanshu shared that no one was following any kind of safety measure at the awards show, which is extremely unfortunate. The awards function was attended by many people inside the venue but none was even wearing a mask. He expressed his disappointment over no facility of sanitizer or sanitization protocol being followed at such a good gathering.
Sudhanshu then went on to say that the coronavirus pandemic is still increasing and everyone is not safe fully unless certain protocols are being followed. A second and third wave of the pandemic is spreading all over the world and one should not be careless thinking that they won’t be infected with coronavirus, said the actor. He then stressed the importance of life and health over any other thing.
Sudhanshu has worked in many films like Singh Is Kinng, Dus Kahaaniyaan, and Singham. He has been a part of the television industry for a long time and has acted in serials like Ye Meri Life Hai, Dishayein, and 24. Right now, he is seen as the lead actor in the popular television show Anupamaa, which is aired on Star Plus at 10 pm from Monday to Saturday.
