Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has recently launched foundation YOLO for the COVID-affected needy. It is currently working tirelessly in Mumbai with a tall target of 100 hospital beds and 500 oxygen concentrators. The actor herself was spotted working in a Ghatkopar Covid Care center in Mumbai.

The actor declared her plans for the future by saying that it is a difficult battle that she has taken on but she was terribly moved by the stories of people not being able to get ambulances and when the availability was there the prices were so high that they could not afford it and as a result of this many people lost their lives. She mentioned that they had made a small beginning by adding two ambulances and were on the lookout for more resources to help people in need.  The ambulance services being provided by YOLO are free of charge and well stocked with necessary medicines and equipment.

Jacqueline is also trying to get a toll-free helpline number so that people can call easily when they are in need. She feels it is her moral obligation to give back to people and society.

Interestingly, YOLO was established with the intention of focusing on other crucial issues, but the COVID pandemic has unveiled other more important issues that have taken priority and are being handled by the YOLO team.

However, YOLO will focus on other causes as well, once they handle the COVID-related emergencies.

In a powerful motivational message on her Instagram account Jacqueline had said the need of the hour was to spread kindness, be sympathetic and help each other. It was important to share inspirational stories and spread positivity to each other. She mentioned how important it was to stay united.
