In the wake of a lot of rumors, misinformation, and a surfeit of news on the COVID vaccines with the third phase scheduled for 1st May, Bollywood stars are taking to social media to dispel the fears of many.
Recently Kangana Ranaut was heard during an interview when she said her staff was very scared of the vaccine but she will personally ensure that she takes it and encourages them to do the same. Veteran actress Neena Gupta had posted her videos of taking the jabs and said it wasn’t bad and certainly nothing to fear. Kareena Kapoor Khan in her latest Instagram post with a reach of 6.5 million followers has posted a Tom and Jerry cartoon clip which very beautifully explains the importance of taking the COVID vaccine. This she says was necessary since children are very confused with the going ons around us. They too get stressed and are plagued with many unanswered questions. Speaking about her older son Tim Tim aka Taimur she says that the kids are also scared as they absorb what is going on around us. They need to understand the importance of the vaccine.
The interesting cartoon clip put up by her plays on the immense popularity of two characters Tom and Jerry. Jerry is always the underdog and much smaller in size, as a result of which he has to use his brains and smartness to escape Tomcat. In this clip after taking 2 shots of the vaccine Jerry becomes bigger than Tom in size and is well poised to beat the opponent. Tom here represents the deadly coronavirus.
