The gorgeous Adline Castelino was seen at the airport on her return after winning the runner-up Miss Universe title. The winner of the Miss Universe 2020 title was Andrea Meza of Mexico. Adline who was representing India was crowned the 3rd runner-up. On Sunday night the 69th edition of the event was hosted in Hollywood at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Contestants from 74 other countries had participated. Because of the ongoing pandemic, the usual glitz and glamour event was considerably underplayed and lacked the usual pomp and show.
In 2019, Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa had won the pageant. The new Miss Universe Meza is 26 years old. Adline won the Miss Diva Universe title.
Adline drew a lot of attention at the Indian airport but not because of her win or the National flag that she was waving. It was because of the expensive outfit that she was wearing. The shimmery jacquard pantsuit was a head-turner. The 22-year-old was wearing a double-breasted blazer, with purple lapels made of silk and had very fine and exquisite embroidery on it. The expensive wardrobe is from “ Zohraa ’’ Clothing brand House of Three. The fabric is the traditional Indian – Benarasi silk. The embroidery uses Kashmiri ektaar beads and thread work. The worth of the jacket is estimated to be Rs 29,000 and the pants a cool Rs 20,000. The total cost of the outfit is Rs 49,000. The accessories were well matched. The make up too was in keeping with the requirement of matching the outfit.
