Kareena Kapoor has defied the myth that marriage and child birth is the end of the road for female actors. Happily married in the prime of her career and mother of 2 children, Kareena is still a much sought-after actor. It is said that Alaukik Desai had proposed the mythological film Sita to Kareena. She indicated that she was very happy with her role but had not given her concurrence as yet. It was said that Veere Di Wedding and a film of Hansal Mehta were her shooting priorities because they were smaller films.
Kareena has demanded a huge price for this magnum opus and she realizes that hers is the central character and the backbone of the movie. She will understandably have to devote a lot of time to this movie and prepare accordingly. It is said that Kareena is in the bracket of 6-8 crores but she has upped her market price for this role and hasn’t said a yes to the project so far. It is said that the producers are now reconsidering casting her, and thinking of a younger actor, although she is their first choice. The astronomical price quoted by her has made them rethink. This actress had during the lockdown inspired her fans with her fitness regime. She voiced her opinion that lockdown should not be a reason to give up. A simple Instagram post of hers with a smartwatch that showed she had walked 5.11 km gave a message loud and clear that she did not compromise on her fitness. Her recent pictures show her sans the pregnancy fat, she seems to have shed those extra kilos and returned to her fit and fabulous self once again. There is no denying that Bebo is in demand and can therefore probably name her price!
