Salman Khan despite his numerous relationships with women, is still labeled as the eternal bachelor. One of his affairs that had gathered a lot of attention was his relationship with Sangeeta Bijlani, prior to her marrying cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin. It is an acknowledged fact that both Salman and Sangeeta are still seen together quite regularly at events even years after their break up and Sangeeta’s marriage. Sangeeta told the media recently that just because one steps out of a relationship, it doesn’t mean that the friendship and love die. That is why both Salman and she are still close friends.
Salman had admitted on Karan Johar’s show “Koffee with Karan “how he had come very close to marrying Sangeeta, in fact, even the wedding cards had got married but it just didn’t happen. He had added in a lighter vein then, that women find him good bot friend material but not good enough to marry. Salman’s relationships with women including his leading ladies have attracted a lot of attention. The two strongest ones that were in the public eye were those with Aishwarya Rai and Sangeeta Bijlani.
Yet in another media interview, Sangeeta had mentioned that once a relationship is over you tend to evolve and grow. However, one does not start hating a person just because the relationship ends. This is probably one of the strongest reasons that have still kept the relationship between Sangeeta and Salman cordial to date. On the Mother’s Day post of Salman Khan, Sangeeta had addressed Helen and Salma Khan as a mom. This goes a long way to show the bonding and closeness that exists between Salman’s family and her. 9th of July marks Sangeeta Bijlani’s birthday 61st birthday.
