Four Bills make Pro Bowl including first-timers Jordan Poyer and Mitch Morse. The Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen (quarterback), Stefon Diggs (receiver), Mitch Morse (center), and Jordan Poyer (safety) were selected to play for the AFC in the Pro Bowl on Wednesday.
The Bills have had at least four players selected for the Pro Bowl in the last two years, making it the fifth time in the previous decade that they have done so.
Diggs, Allen, Morse, and Poyer all made their first Pro Bowl appearances in their age-30 and age-31 seasons, respectively. Diggs was selected for his third Pro Bowl (all with the Bills), and Allen for his second.
The Pro Bowl Games will return to Las Vegas on February 5, 2023, for the first time since the game was canceled. Peyton and Eli Manning will serve as “coaches” for their respective teams. A skills competition and an American Football Conference (AFC) versus National Football Conference (NFC) flag football are both part of the festivities.

Allen, a first-time Pro Bowl selection, ranks third in touchdown passes (30), fifth in passing yards (3,857), and eighth in passer rating heading into Saturday’s game against Chicago (97.3). With 705 rushing yards, he ranks fourth among quarterbacks (which ranks 22nd in the NFL).
Diggs has caught ten touchdown passes and is tied for third in the NFL with 99 receptions and 1,299 receiving yards. In his three years with the Bills, he has been selected for the Pro Bowl each year and has had six games with at least 100 receiving yards.
Backup receivers Davante Adams of Las Vegas and Ja’Marr Chase of Cincinnati assist starters Diggs and Tyreek Hill of Miami.
Morse has started 12 of Buffalo’s 14 games this season. He sat out the team’s loss to Miami in Week 3 (elbow) and their victory over Detroit in Week 11. (ankle). After getting a concussion in last week’s victory over the Dolphins, he has been sidelined from practice this week. Morse has only been called for two enforced penalties in 708 opportunities on offense. Creed Humphrey, of Kansas City, is the AFC’s starting center.
Poyer, who will be a free agent at the end of the season, is tied for fifth in the NFL with four interceptions. Two picks came in Week 4 when the Bills overcame a 20-3 deficit in Baltimore. Poyer has started all ten games for the Bills this season, missing only one game due to a foot injury, one due to rib injuries, and two due to an elbow injury. For the Bills, he is tied for fifth place with 53 tackles.
Free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (Pittsburgh) and strong safety Derwin James (Houston) are the other two AFC safeties (Los Angeles Chargers).
Several Buffalo Bills players were named as Pro Bowl alternates: Left tackle Dion Dawkins, tight end Dawson Knox, linebackers Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds, kicker Tyler Bass, defensive end Greg Rousseau, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, and special teamer Siran Neal make up the first group of alternates.
