It’s close, but BetMGM thinks the Eagles have the upper hand. With a -1.5 line in favor of the Eagles, the oddsmakers see this game as somewhat close but favor Philadelphia by a narrow margin.

For a player who was one of the Eagles’ biggest unknowns coming into the season, Hurts has made significant strides this year. He set personal records in critical categories, including passer rating, passing yards, touchdowns thrown, and intercepted passes. Hurts has improved dramatically, but he’s facing Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes has started every game for the Chiefs in the last five years, and in three of those years, the team has reached the Super Bowl. He has one Super Bowl ring and one MVP honor, and he might have two of each by the end of the upcoming season. In football, he is without peers.
The chiefs have a slight advantage.
Backs who run the ball
Isiah Pacheco, Jerick McKinnon, and Ronald Jones are the heads of the three departments.
Boston Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, and Miles Sanders make up the Eagles.
Pacheco, a seventh-round draught pick, had a promising rookie season, and McKinnon is a vital element of the Chiefs’ passing game. On the other hand, Sanders’ breakthrough season came in 2022, when he rushed for 1,269 yards and 13 touchdowns while also being named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career. The Eagles’ offense continues to function at a high level even when Gainwell and Scott are only on the field for one or two series per game.

Brown and Smith may be the best wide receiver tandem in the NFL. Smith-Schuster and Valdes-Scantling have moments, but Brown and Smith are the clear frontrunners. It may be argued that the Chiefs have more depth, but the NFC Championship Game injuries to Mecole Hardman and Kadarius Toney cast doubt on their ability to play in the Super Bowl. The Eagles’ one-two punch would be decisive even if the Chiefs were at full strength.

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and Eagles’ Dallas Goedert are both tight ends for their respective teams.
The Eagles’ elite wide receivers and running game tend to eclipse Goedert, although he is a very competent player. But he has to face Kelce, who is already among the all-time greats among NFL tight ends, so he’s in for a tough fight. As a result of Tyreek Hill’s departure, the defense paid even more attention to Kelce this season, yet he still had a great year statistically.
