What the weather will be like for Taylor Swift’s Tampa shows.

What the weather will be like for Taylor Swift’s Tampa shows. According to weather predictions, today’s Taylor Swift concert in Tampa should go off without a hitch. There’s a slight risk of rain falling on fans traveling to Raymond James Stadium during her three-night, sold-out tour stop in Florida.

Fans arriving at the stadium when the parking lots open at 3 p.m. may see a little shower or two on their way in, but the forecast is for clear skies when the opening performers take the stage at 6:30 p.m. There is a fair chance that the clouds will clear out. And by the time 8 o’clock rolls around, the temperature is forecast to have dropped to a more bearable level in the low 70s.

The megastar of pop music is doing three gigs at the stadium, all sold out, beginning tonight. In the past, lightning threats have forced the cancellation of football games and concerts there. But, winds are shifting more toward the south, sending the rain forecasted for the western portion of the state to the eastern side, according to Ross Giarratana, a meteorologist at the center of the National Weather Service in Ruskin.

The three days in question, according to Giarratana, “may turn out to be very advantageous.”

According to him, the outlook for Friday and Saturday is also decent, with less than a 10 percent chance of rain each day.
