National Cheeseburger Day is observed on Monday. You’d be hard-pressed to find anything at the shop for less than a dollar. On Monday, however, in honor of National Cheeseburger Day, McDonald’s customers may purchase a double cheeseburger for 50 cents, only 45 cents more than the chain’s initial hamburger cost in 1948.
Only customers who use the McDonald’s app can take advantage of the offer, which is restricted to one burger per person. According to the company’s official website, a McDonald’s cheeseburger can cost as little as $1 and as much as $2.79.

Fast food has traditionally been a low-profit company with poor consumer loyalty. Chains announce large prizes, usually related to mobile apps, to help promote sales.
McDonald’s is one of many burger chains that provide discounts. Through September 22, Wendy’s is selling their junior bacon cheeseburger for one cent by purchasing another item from the menu.
And Burger King would almost certainly be compelled to surrender his kingdom if he did nothing to commemorate National Cheeseburger Day. Customers who sign up for the chain’s Royal Perks program will receive a free cheeseburger if they spend at least a dollar.
Regional restaurants such as Smashburger, Krystal, and Carl’s Jr. also provide inexpensive burgers.
These types of promotions have been introduced previously. In previous years, several burger restaurants have offered discounts on National Cheeseburger Day.
