The Royal Albert Hall IN London was the venue for BAFTA 2021, and two icons in the world of cinema the late Irrfan Khan and late Rishi Kapoor were among a few others who were honoured posthumously.
The tragic demise of these two stalwarts from the Indian film industry on 2021, had left their family, fans, friends and well wishers completely shocked. Irrfan had also worked in Hollywood films like Inferno, Jurassic World and Life of Pi. Rishi Kapoor had a legacy of 5 decades and had worked in more than 100 films.
The two veterans were given a glowing tribute at the 74th BAFTA. Video tributes were given to other icons who left for their heavenly abode recently. These included Sir Sean Connery, Ian Holm, Kirk Douglas, Barbara Windsor who featured in the list of 40 names that included producers, technicians, writers, directors and other departed actors.
