A Ukrainian delegate at the Black Sea Nations Assembly in Ankara was seen punching a Russian. During a gathering of Black Sea nations in the Turkish capital on Thursday, a Ukrainian delegate struck a Russian ambassador in the face after his Ukrainian flag was taken away to prevent him from photobombing a video interview with Russia’s lead delegate. The incident occurred when the Ukrainian delegate’s flag was taken away.
On his Facebook page, Olesandr Marikovski shared a video where he can be seen beating the Russians and regaining possession of the blue and yellow flag.

The gathering of the Organization for Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) was in a building that housed the parliament, and the event took place in a hallway within that structure.
Earlier in the day, some Ukrainian delegates fought with security agents, trying to pull them away from a demonstration they were staging. During the protest, they were shouting and holding their flags near Russia’s senior delegate as she attempted to address the assembly.
The head of the Turkish parliament, Mustafa Sentop, issued a stern reprimand after the images of the disruption were published on the website of the Turkish parliament and placed there.
“I condemn this behavior which disrupts the peaceful environment that Turkey is trying to establish,” he said. “It is unacceptable.”On Thursday, while delegates from the 13 countries that comprise the BSEC gathered for a meeting, Russian drones began their assault on the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv.
