Actor Brad William Henke passes away peacefully at age 56. Actor Brad William Henke passed away at the young age of 56. Henke passed away on Tuesday while sleeping, according to the Hollywood Reporter’s communication from the man’s agent Sheree Cohen.

Henke’s manager, Matt DelPiano, said in a statement that “Brad was an incredibly kind man of joyous energy,” according to E! News. “He was an extremely talented actor who loved being a part of our community, and we reciprocated his love. We are thinking of his wife and family.”

Henke, whose acting career included a part in “Orange Is the New Black,” had a professional football career before; he played for the Denver Broncos in the 1990 Super Bowl, which they lost, according to a 1998 Tucson Citizen article.

The actor has appeared in one episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “MacGyver,” “The Office,” and “ER,” according to his IMDb page; he also appeared in several episodes of “Lost.” He even made an appearance in the Michael Jordan-starring film “Space Jam.”

In a long-ago Tucson Citizen article, Henke said, “I’m fortunate I’ve found something I love to do a million times more than playing football.” “After my football career ended, I felt a little lost for a while, so I’m so happy I came across this. The best parts of my life were already behind me, and I didn’t want to live out my days regretting them.”

He admitted, “I kind of regret not getting into acting sooner.” “However, I believe that the experiences I had in life prior to discovering my vocation have been extremely beneficial. My career is being built solely on my own merits and not because of anything I did on the football field.”
