Henke’s manager, Matt DelPiano, said in a statement that “Brad was an incredibly kind man of joyous energy,” according to E! News. “He was an extremely talented actor who loved being a part of our community, and we reciprocated his love. We are thinking of his wife and family.”
Henke, whose acting career included a part in “Orange Is the New Black,” had a professional football career before; he played for the Denver Broncos in the 1990 Super Bowl, which they lost, according to a 1998 Tucson Citizen article.
The actor has appeared in one episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “MacGyver,” “The Office,” and “ER,” according to his IMDb page; he also appeared in several episodes of “Lost.” He even made an appearance in the Michael Jordan-starring film “Space Jam.”

In a long-ago Tucson Citizen article, Henke said, “I’m fortunate I’ve found something I love to do a million times more than playing football.” “After my football career ended, I felt a little lost for a while, so I’m so happy I came across this. He admitted, “I kind of regret not getting into acting sooner.” “However, I believe that the experiences I had in life prior to discovering my vocation have been extremely beneficial. My career is being built solely on my own merits and not because of anything I did on the football field.”
