Sushmita Sen who has been applauded for her philanthropic activities and most importantly her single motherhood where she has adopted two girls and carried off her role as a mother with great aplomb has always been appreciated.
On Mother’s Day today Sushmita took to her Instagram account to post a lovely family picture of herself with her mother and her two daughters. These three generations in one post has got 139,210 likes at the time of this article being written. The picture of a smiling Subhra Sen her mother and Sushmita’s two adopted daughters Renee and Alisah Sen is indeed a visual delight.
It is also an open secret that the 45-year-old shares an extremely close relationship with her Kathak teacher, Pritam Shikare and Shobha. Most of her social media posts are dedicated to her dance teachers. She shares calls them Pritam Maa and Shobha Amma. She has in her latest post thanked them for their support in trying times to ensure that she returns as a stronger person. In her wonderfully penned message, she said how happy she was to have been born in their hearts. Renee was adopted in 2000 and the second daughter Alisah in 2010. She took a sabbatical from movies to look after her daughters and devote time to her foundation “I AM.”
Recently, she made a comeback with “Aarya’’ and this drama series won her awards and got her a lot of recognition and fame. She is now gearing up for season 2 on popular demand.
After her Miss Universe win Sushmita has been maintaining a rather low profile in Bollywood films apart from a few like “ Biwi No 1 ” “ Main Hoon Na “ etc but through her social media posts she comes across as a family person who values and adores her family.
