All those who have seen The White Tiger have come back applauding the young Adarsh Gaurav, for his superlative performance. The actor who had hitherto been ignored by Bollywood has suddenly received a spate of offers. The mainstream Hindi film producers have made several offers to him. The latest coming in on this front is that he has been signed on by Zoya Akhtar for her next directorial venture. However, he is not permitted to reveal details about the same.
Industry sources close to the actor have revealed that most of the roles being offered to Gourav are negative and he is refraining form accepting those as that will lead to him being bracketed in a particular type.
Zoya Akhtar’s movie however is said will provide a lot of room for his creativity and artistic talent. She has also finalised Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi along with Gourav. Siddhant has already featured in Gully Boy. Zoya’s movie, but Ananya and Gourav are first timers with her. Siddhant had already won his way into the viewers’ hearts through his noteworthy performance in the 2019 Gully Boy. This film also the official entry from India for the Academy Awards best International Feature film category.

Adarsh on the other hand was nominated for the BAFTA award for The White Tiger, a performance that won him a lot of audience appreciation and praise. The movie was based on the book by Aravind Adiga. The other popular actors who had starred alongside him were Rajkumar Rao and actor and executive producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Gourav’s role as Balram in The White Tiger was phenomenal. The movie was backed by Netflix the International giant in streaming. It was directed and written by Ramin Bahrani.
