Our Bollywood celebrities have a tremendous fan following and are followed very closely on their social media accounts. With the recent lockdown imposed in Maharashtra, and the shooting stopped completely some of the celebs took off to the island paradise of Maldives. Their Instagram accounts have been flooded with their vacay pictures. From Madhuri to Jhanvi Kapoor to Sara Ali Khan to Rakulpreet all have been there and shown us the fun times they have had or are currently having there. Very recently Disha Patni and Tiger Shroff headed to this exotic destination. Disha took to her Instagram account and posted some gorgeous pics of hers on her vacation. This was taken very badly by people who trolled her for her insensitivity.
On the other hand, in his Instagram post, Ajay Devgan has put up a picture of himself holding daughter Nysa. He has wished her on her birthday saying these are small joys that give a break from the current stressful times. In a much-appreciated show of empathy, he has added a “sincere prayer for all those who need healing.”
In another post today, he has announced the crime thriller “Rudra’’ in which he stars and which is releasing on Hotstar Specials. He says it will be a “killer.”
In March about 3 weeks ago a video doing the rounds was captioned saying that Ajay Devgan was beaten outside a pub in Delhi. This was later clarified by him and his team that it was probably somebody who was his look-alike and certainly wasn’t him. On his Twitter handle, he further went on to clarify that he hadn’t traveled to Delhi in the recent past.
Today with the world being closely knit through social media our Bollywood actors need to exercise great discretion in what they post.
