In a piece of heartening news for all fans of Akshay Kumar, he has tested negative for COVID19 and is back with his family. Wife Twinkle Khanna who is very active on social media broke the news. On her instagram handle she posted a caricature of herself and Akshay, inspired from the very popular Simpsons with a caption “safe and sound and good to have him around” #allizwell.
The cartoon character in the post shows Akshay smartly clad and Twinkle aka Mrs Funny bones is wearing a dress holding her book Mrs Funny bones in her hand. Twinkle, a former actress and now a successful author has changed her profession and scored a wonderful innings there.

Earlier this month, Akshay had confirmed the news of his testing COVID positive and had mentioned that he was hospitalized as a precautionary measure. He had also urged all those who had come in contact with him to get themselves tested.
In her most recent post today, on Instagram, Twinkle has dispelled all the fears of his fans and well wishers by informing all that he is healthy and back with a COVID negative status. Akshay had been hospitalized for a week. Earlier he had home quarantined himself, but due to his deteriorating health it was considered prudent to shift him to the hospital.
Bollywood had been engulfed with COVID 19 infections, right from TV stars to top Bollywood stars. Aditya Narayan and his wife, Shweta Tiwari and others to Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagma, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora just to name a few.
Recently another news that was surfacing about Akshay was of actor Kangana Ranaut’s claim that he had called her “secretly “to praise her work in “ Thalaivi.”
