Some of the well-known names are – Suran Jagan, Dr. Palash Sen, and others. He has also had the opportunity to meet Zakir Hussain and A R Rahman.
Akshit Dhadwal despite being successful has retained his humility and his passion for creating harmony in society and the world at large, through his music. He advocates the belief that music connects people globally, irrespective of their religion, caste, creed, nationality or colour.
Akshit Dhadwal has had a brilliant academic record. He ranked among the top 20 students, who were selected for KMMC Chennai that is a music conservatory of AR Rahman in India. He then went on to pursue music at the Berklee College of Music. After completing a summer programme from here, he went on to complete a full-time degree from the Quincy College of Music.
Akshit strongly believes that one must not be motivated by financial gains or fame. What an individual should work towards is creating an unbreakable bond between people through music.
Quoting his personal views, Akshit says borders between countries dismay him, and so many lives are lost in protecting borders. He voiced these thoughts when he recently visited the Derby line in Vermont USA. This is the longest border in the world that is undefended. He expressed that he wished for peace and harmony between nations. He also expressed his happiness that as an Indian he has been able to jam with musicians from Canada and the USA.
