Al Roker leaves the hospital after a second visit. Al Roker of TODAY said on his Instagram that he had returned home after many days in the hospital. He posted on Facebook, “So immensely grateful to family, friends, medical professionals, the TODAY show family, and all your thoughts and prayers.”
After all, the Today weather reporter was treated in the hospital for the second time in a month before being discharged. Home!” he wrote on Instagram on December 8.
He added, “So tremendously grateful to family, friends, medical professionals, @todayshow family, and all your thoughts and prayers,” after posting photographs of himself with his wife, Deborah Roberts, and daughter Leila Roker, 24, living together once more.

Al posted a positive health update and a picture of a gorgeous sunrise over a city skyline earlier that day.
Al commented, “Hopefully, returning soon, but as your spirit dwindles a little, you get to experience that and replenish.” God bless you, everyone, for your kind thoughts and prayers for my family and me.
Due to a blood clot in his leg and lungs, Al was first taken to the hospital in November, just before Thanksgiving. He missed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast for the first time in 27 years due to a medical setback.
On the NBC morning broadcast on December 1, she added, “His physicians are keeping a tight eye on him.” Al and his family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and best wishes.
His daughter Leila used Instagram Story to express gratitude to his supporters during Al’s second hospitalization. On November 30, she commented, “Thank you to all the great friends and family who have reached out. We are very grateful. (NBCUniversal includes Today and E! in its family.)
