The answer is that Anupam has a larger and closer role to play in real life. It’s that of a doting and caring husband for wife Kirron Kher.
Kirron Kher has been battling blood cancer for quite some time now and is on the road to recovery as was informed by Anupam to the media. Kirron is an Indian film and theatre actress and in May 2014 she was elected to the Lok Sabha from Chandigarh. Kirron was also popular on TV as a reality show judge. She represents the BJP. She has a son Sikandar Kher from her first marriage. Before marrying Anupam, Kirron was married to businessman Gautam Berry. Her marriage to Anupam is her second marriage. For Anupam Kher too it is his second marriage. Anupam and Kirron Kher first met in 1980 and became friends and then went on to marry each other in 1985 in a private ceremony that was held in Gurgaon.
The media is rife with pictures of Anupam and Kirron Kher and son Sikander. Anupam comes across as a family man who bonds very well with his brother, his family, stepson Sikander and mother Dulari. Most of his videos on social media are the interaction between him and his mother which the public enjoys and appreciates.
Anupam Kher has informed the media that Kirron is now recovering although times are very difficult during COVID. He has told us that Kirron is in a positive frame of mind however since the treatment is very difficult the patients who are suffering from this dreaded disease need to keep their minds distracted, which is not happening much in Kirron’s case since there are a lot of restrictions on movements of people and travel etc due to the pandemic.
