Biden lashes out at reporter asking about dismal approval among Dems: ‘Read the polls, Jack’

Biden lashes out at reporter asking about dismal approval among Dems: ‘Read the polls, Jack’: Tuesday, the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, became irritated when he was asked for his reaction to a recent survey that showed the majority of Democrats do not want him to run for re-election in 2024. He then approached a reporter in response to the question.

During the congressional picnic held at the White House, a reporter approached the President and said, “Mr. President, what is your message to Democrats who don’t want you to run again?”

Biden, who was strolling alongside the reporter at the time, halted in his tracks and said to the journalist, “they want me to run.” He then instructed the journalist to “study the polls.” According to a poll conducted by the New York Times, the reporter mentioned that almost two-thirds of Democrats have expressed the sentiment that they do not want Biden to run for office again.

Biden said, “Read the polls, Jack, you guys are all the same,” as he gradually began to get closer to the reporter and the camera. “You guys are all the same.” “If I campaigned for office, the results of that poll showed that 92 percent of Democrats would vote for me.”

Both the reporter and Biden restated their claims to one another, with the reporter reiterating that the majority of Democrats do not want Biden to run for office in 2024 and Biden denying the statistic and insisting that the opposite was in fact the case. The reporter also restated that the majority of Democrats do not want Biden to campaign in 2024.

This discussion takes place at a time when the media has been emphasizing a number of polls that show Biden is in a precarious position with American voters, especially those of his own party. The data that Vice President Biden and the reporter cited came from a poll conducted by the New York Times and Siena College between July 5 and July 7.

In this particular scenario, the reporter’s conclusion that the majority, or almost two-thirds, of Democrats, do not want Biden to run for president again in two years was, in fact, accurate. In that regard, the reporter’s prediction was true. According to the results of the survey, an astounding 64 percent of Democratic voters are in agreement that someone else should succeed the current incumbent in 2024.

The figure of 92 percent that has been attributed to Joe Biden does, in fact, appear in the poll; however, it does not correspond to any of the questions that ask whether or not he ought to run for president in 2024. Instead, the figure is making a reference to the fact that 92 percent of Democrats would still vote for Biden if it were a hypothetical race between him and former President Donald Trump.

Additionally, a number of other noteworthy insights into the national sentiment regarding Biden and his administration were highlighted by the poll as well.

The study reveals a particularly high level of dissatisfaction among younger voters, revealing that 94% of Democratic voters under the age of 30 would rather have a different nominee. The survey also indicated that only 13% of respondents felt that the United States is currently moving in the right direction.
