Adding to Kangana Ranaut’s woes in the recent past is the stay on her passport renewal. The actor was all set to shoot Dhaakad from June 15th to August 30th in Budapest. This action film has Kangana all excited and raring to go. Industry sources close to the actor have revealed that Kangana’s passport was due for renewal on September 15th and she had applied for its renewal in the Regional passport office. Her application was however turned down due to the FIR case in the Munawar Ali case against her. Since the schedule of Dhaakad was already lined up the actress appealed for an urgent hearing at the Bombay High Court. Only one hearing has taken place so far, and the next hearing date had been scheduled for the 25th of June. It is learned that the court has said that the actress should have been more alert and filed a proper petition. The court said that her application was vague. The Police have been cautioned not to take any stern action against Kangana or Rangoli her sister, however, the FIR for sedition against her, has not been withdrawn.
Post her return from Manali, as well as post her COVID recovery the actor has left no stone unturned to stay fit and healthy. She was recently seen exiting her Pilates classes, she was seen horse riding on this Sunday morning and generally keeping a health and fitness conscious approach to life. Dhaakad will require her to be in top form, maybe that is one of the reasons why she is taking her fitness so seriously.
Madhya Pradesh hosted the first shoot of Dhaakad. The stars who were present then were Arjun Ramal and Divya Dutta. Kangana will play the role of agent Agni in this. The film is produced by Sohail Maklai. Kangana has quite a few heroine centered movies coming up. She has Thalaivi and Tejas amongst others.
