Recently, Harbhajan Singh had made a frantic call seeking assistance for a COVID -19 patient in Karnataka who needed the Remdesiver injection. Sonu immediately sprang into action and started exploring ways and means to help out. Sonu is actively involved in arranging oxygen, ventilator beds, and other medical facilities for the needy during these challenging times.
Suresh Raina’s aunt who was in Meerut and had been very ill needed oxygen and when Suresh approached Sonu, an oxygen cylinder was arranged. Sonu responded to Harbhajan Singh’s tweet seeking Remdesivir for a critically ill COVID patient in Karnataka and assured Harbhajan Singh that it would be done. Such assurances go a long way in today’s trying times when people are despairing and there is an acute shortage of medical facilities.
Sonu Sood is also instrumental in bringing in oxygen facilities via oxygen plants from France to India. In the past in a media interview, Sonu had mentioned how he keeps receiving calls and requests for help and his heart breaks when people are begging for oxygen. He says he feels he has failed as a human being if he is unable to help the needy.
