Beasley, who is 34 years old and a veteran, played a much more significant role than one would anticipate for someone his age. He caught four passes in the first quarter of the Giants’ preseason opener. This may be interpreted as a sign that the Giants want Beasley to compete for a roster position. This is a challenging task to complete while he is injured.
Beasley is behind several other wide receivers on the Giants’ depth chart, including Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, Parris Campbell, Jalin Hyatt, Sterling Shepard, and Wan’Dale Robinson. The Giants’ expansive receiver room is quite packed.
