The world has become increasingly aware of health and well-being due to the pandemic, which these experts feel will unleash a new futuristic journey which is wellness tourism.

Guests now want a complete package that includes both, mental and physical well-being. Everybody has undergone a change in their lifestyle. The travel industry has to reiterate from time to time how they are taking pandemic-related precautions which as everybody knows is here to stay for a long time and will not vanish overnight. Last year saw the travel industry as one of the worst-hit ones. People want to take care of their mental health too and the future is of health-centered vacations. People would want to spend more time amidst nature and will look for farms and other resorts etc that are situated far away from the urban hustle and bustle.

Consumers will be more conscious and will look for health and wellness in their packages. Green destinations, a business that is eco-sustainable, and medically supervised packages that promote good health will all be part of the offering. People with co-morbidities will look at specially designed packages that are diet and activity-friendly for them.

Post-COVID the recovered patients are still susceptible to about 6 months for a recurrence so they can have a separate package keeping in mind the care needed for them. Experts can design recovery programs with vitamin infusion, ozone therapy, power walks, and meditation amongst other newly introduced components.

For quite some time we cannot travel as we used to earlier, mandatory COVID tests will be in place, prior to travel and certificated would have to be displayed prior to travel. The world has indeed changed with so many restrictions in place and as they say people have to adapt to change and so will the travel and the travel industry!
