The Indian audience is all set to welcome entertainment in the theatres once again. Bearing testimony to this fact was the weekend box office collection of the James Bond movie and Daniel Craig starrer, No Time to Die. The weekend saw a strong collection for it across all languages in India. The collection numbers beat two recently released movies, the Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom and Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivii. Even the combined collection of these two movies was way lower than No Time to Die.

This movie paved the way for the willingness of people to come back to the theatres and indulge in a movie going experience during the pre-COVID days. The collection in its first weekend of this final Daniel Craig movie as James Bond is Rs 12.50 Crore nett. This collection is despite the fact that most cinema halls across Maharashtra remain shut, and the movie halls in Karnataka have also not opened again.

No Time to Die has a blend of the typical James Bond action flick as well as an emotional side to it, which has been well received by the audience. The thrilling actions sequences are captivating and mesmerising for Bond lovers and enthusiasts.

The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and is packed with all the ingredients for an adrenaline rush. Daniel in his crisp tuxedo, well knotted tie and well aligned cuffs plays the perfect part of the Bond bidding farewell. The villain being played by Rami Malek is also a memorable character and lives deep in the minds of the viewers with his sinister deeds well past the end of the movie.

The other actors include Christoph Waltz, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Naomie Harris and Lea Seydoux. A good plot, good screenplay, good direction and adrenaline pumping action with an emotional to it all go towards making No Time to Die a popular and well watched movie.
