With several TV stars and Bollywood associates standing up for Pearl V Puri, we now have Divya Khosla Kumar, writing a long post on her social media. Her Instagram post shows the picture of the parents of the minor who according to the girl’s father had been raped by Pearl on the sets of his serial Bepannah Pyar that had been produced by Balaji Telefilms in 2019. Ekta Kapoor has gone on record to say that the child’s mother had told her that all this was fabricated by the father to win a custody battle of the child, and he was a psychotic person determined to show the child’s mother who is a working mother as careless and unfit to take care of her child.
Divya has raised strong questions on what will happen to Pearl’s career which has been suddenly aborted? If he is proven not guilty, how will he be compensated for all the lost time, reputation and projects? Her post mentions how Peral is just a scapegoat in a nasty brawl between the parents. She also discloses that apart from his television career doing extremely well he was also about to sign a big film. All these will suffer now.
In her long Instagram post, she also mentions that Pearl has lost his father recently and his mother is sick and ailing who keeps crying for her son. Divya feels that he has a right to be released on bail and he must so that he can be with his mother and look after her.
She mentions the dark side of the #MeToo movement which is wrongly used to implicate men. She makes a reference to the late Sushant Singha and says her heart went out to him even though she didn’t know him. She says her heart goes out to Pearl and his mother. She says she has worked with him and he is absolutely certain that he has not committed such an act.
