Marflix which is Siddharth Anand’s banner has joined hands with Viacom 18 for this production. India will see the production of an aerial action film for the first time. Viacom 18 has been using social media to announce this new venture. They have even shared a video while making this announcement. They have said that after offering so much entertainment to their audiences they have now raised the bar by enhancing their cinematic experience.
The COO of Viacom 18 studios Ajit Andhare mentioned how an aerial action film transports the audience to a unique and different world altogether. He mentioned how he was keen on providing this experience for Indian moviegoers and was looking for a proper subject that had its origins in India. Fighter provided that to him.
Siddharth Anand who is directing the film is equally excited and says it is a dream project. He says he has a feel of this genre and knows what the audiences expect.
This experience will be a global experience that audiences will love in theatres. The film will have the latest technology be it filming or any other. The locations will be international locales. The movie, however, is a tribute to the armed forces of India and honors their chivalry. Hrithik will be cast as an air force officer.
