iPhone 14 Max, Pro Max to have a delayed launch?

Here’s some bad news for Apple fans!! The wait for iPhone Max and Pro Max is not over yet. The new iPhone 14 series will be shown off to the public in the second week of September. However, the latest reports say that two of the phones might not come out until later because of a delay in panel shipments.

Even though the exact release date of this line of smartphones is not known, two iPhone 14 models will be available soon after. Ross Young of DSCC says that the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be pushed back by one month.

According to the tweet, the panels for the bigger models will start shipping in July, while the panels for the smaller ones can start shipping in June. While the exact reasons for the delay are still unknown, it is speculated that the delay could be because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused China to shut down.

In September of this year, Apple is expected to release four new iPhone 14 models. Some earlier reports said that the new A16 Bionic chip will be used in the iPhone 14 Pro. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 and Pro Max are expected to launch with the same A15 Bionic chip that is in the iPhone 13. The “plain” iPhone 14 is said to get rid of the notch.

Earlier, GSM Arena said that Apple had made a deal with Chinese smartphone screen maker BOE to make the screens for the iPhone 14. The Chinese company will only make 6.1-inch screens, so the bigger iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone Pro will only be able to use screens made by Samsung and LG.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned with us for more updates!!
