Joseph Jo Mersa Marley the grandson of Bob Marley died at 31. Joseph “Jo Mersa” Marley, a musician known by his stage name, passed away at 31. His grandfather was the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley.

He stated, among other things, “My deepest condolences to Joseph’s friends and acquaintances, as well as to the Reggae music community and fans everywhere.” His untimely death at the young age of 31 is a significant loss to the music industry as we consider the upcoming generation.

“As we lament his loss during this season of goodwill, when we celebrate our affection for each other with family and friends, may he find eternal peace.”

WZPP Radio in Miami reported that Marley was discovered in his car and had purportedly passed away from an asthma attack. Although an official cause of death has not yet been made public, this information was given by the station.

Marley was born in Jamaica to his father, Stephen Marley, who was also famous in the Jamaican music scene. Later in his life, Marley migrated to Florida. He received his education at Miami Dade College, where he majored in studio engineering.

According to his Instagram, he gave his most recent performance on November 13 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Marley issued his debut extended play (EP), “Comfortable,” in 2014. It wasn’t until 2021 that he gave “Eternal.”

Marley has a family that includes a wife named Qiara and a kid named Sunshine.

After learning of his passing, mourners and lovers descended upon the comment section of Marley’s Instagram account in droves. Among them was the house musician Gordo.

Simply put, he scribbled the word “Legend.”
