It was in June last year that the nation was shocked to hear about the untimely death of popular and young actor Sushant Singh Rajput. June 14th will mark a year since his mysterious death. There is still a dark shroud of mystery around his death, as theories of murder, suicide, abetment to suicide have yet to be proved.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta who has been very active on social media in support of her brother, has announced in an Instagram post of hers that she will retire to the mountains for the whole month of June without access to the internet or cell phone. This solitary retreat of hers will be done in remembrance of her beloved brother whose memories she will cherish and remember during her retreat in isolation. She says that although he is physically not with them any more his sweet memories will forever stay with her. His sister Priyanka too often shares some unseen pictures of her brother on social media. In an earlier post she had shared an assortment of pictures in a video clip made for her son Nirvanh’s birthday. The clip had pictures of Sushant too and showed some happy moments along with family love and bonding.
Sushant’s death has attracted huge public support and anger. His fans had demanded a CBI probe into the cause of his death. His girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had come under the scanner. She was accused of an abetment to suicide. This case had seen volatile drama, with witnesses coming forth, generating high media interest, several fan clubs had sprung up demanding justice for Sushant. Sushant had in a short career span risen to popularity with good performances in Chhichore, M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story and others.
