Katrina Kaif who recently joined the list of COVID 19 affected Bollywood celebrities, took to her Instagram handle today (Sunday) to communicate with her friends and well-wishers.
The pictures that she posted show her in a pensive mood, not looking into the camera. Her post garnered 10,72,538 likes in a short time and the number is growing. Director Karan Johar commented with a “so pretty.’’ Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra responded with a heart emoticon.
Katrina is active on social media and connects quite often with her fans. These pictures of hers donned in a casual outfit with minimalistic make up connected immediately with her 48.2 M followers on Instagram. A host of get well soon messages and good wishes came her way subsequent to this post.
Katrina broke the news of her testing positive on last Tuesday through her social media and immediately added how she had self-quarantined herself and warned people to stay cautious and follow all COVID protocols. She requested all those who had come in contact with her to get tested immediately. A day prior, on Monday Vicky Kaushal who is rumoured to be sharing a close relationship with Katrina tested positive and broke the news on his social media to his friends and well-wishers.
Katrina and Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi was due to be released on April 20th in cinemas. With the worsening COVID 19 situation in Maharashtra, as well as the COVID 19 positive status of both the lead actors, and the theatres being shut, the plans of release have been shelved. The other films of Katrina that she is working on are Tiger 3 with Salman Khan, Phone booth opposite Ishan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. There is a super hero film which is being directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar in the offing.
