Joe Biden or Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is the current president-elect of the United States of America. When the news broke that Donald Trump has been defeated by Joe Biden in the 2020 United States Presidential elections, many citizens of the country and people from neighboring countries felt happier that they got new leadership in the form of Joe Biden for the next some years.
Joe Biden will be taking charge of the office as the 46th president of the USA in January 2021. For the unaware, Joe had worked as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 and United States Senator for Delaware from 1973 to 2009. Joe had a roller-coaster journey in his professional career in politics, which teaches us many valuable lessons for life.
Even if you are going through a lot of struggles in your life, it won’t stop you from achieving what you want in the future. In November 1972, Joe was elected to the Senate and was celebrating his victory in a career. However, tragedy struck his life when his wife Neilia and daughter Naomi died in a car accident when they were shopping for Christmas. His two sons survived the accident with bad injuries.
Joe was heartbroken with such a disaster in his personal life and decided to not accept the Senate nomination, however, when people kept making him realize his potential, he agreed to take charge of the office and took his oath from his sons’ hospital room.
During 1988 when Joe took part in the presidential race, some reports claimed about his plagiarism during law school and misleading claims about his academic record postponed his campaign.
Joe understood that he has to be more careful in the future to avoid such errors. We wish best of luck to Joe Biden for his future work as the Leader of the US.
