Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar is known to be a straight-forward man when it comes to business or films. No wonder we admire his successful films like Chandni Bar, Page 3, Traffic Signal, and Fashion. He is known to take up social issues that are bothering the actual world and present in his films aptly.
Just recently, Madhur wrote to producer and filmmaker Karan Johar asking for a change in the name of their upcoming Netflix show titled Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Madhur says that the show’s producers Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar have changed the title of his upcoming project called Bollywood Wives when he denied giving the title to them.
Taking to Twitter, Bhandarkar requested Johar to increase hurdles to his upcoming project. He wrote, “Dear @karanjohar U & @apoorvamehta18 had asked me 4 the title #BollywoodWives for web,which I refused,as my project is underway. It is Morally & ethically wrong u to tweak it to #
Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is a story about the lives of four ‘star’ wives – Seema Khan (wife of Sohail Khan), Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Panday), and Neelam Kothari Soni (wife of Samir Soni).
The show also has a beautiful cameo performance by Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
The show has been produced under Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives will begin streaming on Netflix from November 27 this year.
