A 35-year-old man was arrested in the New York City for attack on the actor Rick Moranis of “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” fame, authorities said.
The suspect was intercepted by the police in the subway system, a few meters away from where the attack had happened last month, police said.

The Police identified the victim as actor Moranis who was assaulted outside his Upper West Side building. Moranis was punched by a man wearing a “T” shirtprinted “I Love NY”, and the assault was captured on security video.
Moranis is known for the 1980s sketch comedy series “Second City Television” and he has essayed roles in movies such as “Spaceballs” “Ghostbusters” and “Honey I Shrunk the Kids,’ When he was attacked he was walking in the morning on a sidewalk near Central Park on Oct.1.
Moranis, 67, fell on the ground after he was punched and later was taken to a hospital. It appearsthat the actor did nothing to provoke his assailant.
Meanwhile spokesman confirmed that Moranis was the victim and was recovering from the assault. Moranis was also grateful for everyone’s who wished him a fast recovery. Troy Bailey said after the attack became public.
Police said Ventura was questioned and later arrested on assault in the second degree; he had the intention to cause serious physical injury to Moranis, but the reason for such assault is still not known. Investigation in the matter is going on.
