In her latest post on Instagram, actor turned bestselling author Twinkle Khanna , known for her quick wit and humor has churned out a humorous post to accompany her picture. Take a look here:
The book “Pyjamas are forgiving” that Twinkle refers to here is an Indian fiction novel published in 2018 written by her. The main protagonist is a middle-aged woman -Anshu who narrates the novel and suffers from sleep disorder. Twinkle had mentioned that she had thought of this unique title when after a few weeks of Diwali snacking and sweets eating she was struggling to zip up her jeans. The book did very well and was appreciated by the readers.
In her caption of the Instagram post Twinkle expresses her frustration which we are sure would ring true for many of us at being cooped up indoors and regrets forgiving clothes. She mentions her wish to don a “body con dress ……crop tops…. glitter eyeshadow” and shout “Go Corona Go’’ and ends with a fervent “as long as we can all get out!!” Keeping her celebrity status and influence in mind she also cautions her fans and followers not to take her too seriously since safety comes first.
Twinkle has always been known for her unique brand of humor which does not prevent her from making fun of herself on many occasions too. Be it her high testosterone levels and moustache as a teenager which she mentioned on Karan Johar’s “Koffee with Karan show or her debacle as a heroine with films like “Mela”, this witty actress has her fans rolling with laughter on many occasions. She has finally found her true calling as an author and her books have been loved by the readers.
