    Step 1: Reflect on the Reasons for the Breakup

     However, if you are planning to reconnect with your ex, there are some significantly important aspects that you would need to know first, which are the reasons you broke up in the first place. Think about what happened that caused you to take that decision of breaking up and your contribution to the whole affair. Was there cold communication or perhaps no communication at all? Did trust break down? Or was it the fact that there were external conditions that exerted pressure on the couple?
