Shershaah is due to release on the 12th of August on the digital platform. Recently, a teaser of this film directed by Vishnuvaradhan was released. The film is produced by Karan Johar. Industry sources had earlier said that Shah Rukh Khan, would be starring in the film, although no confirmed reports had come in regarding the same. However, the recent teaser does not feature him and new reports say that he is no longer a part of the film. Sidharth Malhotra will be recreating the memory of the illustrious Captain Vikram Batra by portraying his character. The brave Captain Batra sacrificed his life in the Kargil war of 1999. The teaser of the film was showered with a lot of praise, and audience appreciation.
Kiara Advani shared a few posts about Shershaah on her Instagram account with her 17.7 million followers. She captioned one of her posts as “Big dreams, bigger legacy.” She mentioned in her latest post on the film that the promise that is made between two hearts is the only promise and in the story of the film it is seen how promises like this last much more than a lifetime. Some of the followers have commented on how good the two lead actors look together.
Sidharth Malhotra too has shared posts about Shershaah, with his 12.7 million followers on his Instagram account. He has captioned one of his posts saying that Captain Batra’s dream was not very different, but his story was unique and will continue to inspire generations. He was personally very inspired. The comments reveal that people are waiting very eagerly for this film.
Shah Rukh Khan on the work front will be seen in Pathan, the release date as of now is indicated as 3rd April 2022.
