Tabs are being tested in Windows Notepad by Microsoft. Accounts are not exclusive to web browsers; over the past several years, they have begun to appear in an increasing number of Windows apps. They may visit Notepad now.

An employee at Microsoft revealed in a tweet that has since been deleted an internal build of Notepad that included support for tabs. Tabs were also recently added to File Explorer, indicating that Microsoft is simply following up on another piece of software that many users frequently use to open multiple windows at once. If you often reach for the Notepad shortcut on your computer to scribble down something, this will help keep things clear and better organized.

Unfortunately, you cannot utilize it at this time; but it will most certainly become available to insiders during the next few months as 2023 approaches.
