Maybe not as active as his father superstar Amitabh Bachchan on social media but junior Bachchan still has a good social media presence and is active with his posts and messages. He has a fan following of 7 million on his Instagram account. His latest post today honors the nurses. A picture of masked nurses with real-life quotes and names from most of them accompany the picture in a running script. They say that despite the threats and risks they are at work. They have put their service above their family, especially their children even newborns.
Abhishek in his post writes how they have kept humanity above everything else and risked their lives to protect their patients. They have displayed resilience, determination, and exemplary service. He says that everybody will be indebted to them.
Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and daughter Aradhya Bachchan had all contracted COVID -19 and been hospitalized. They have recovered fully now. Jaya Bachchan had, however, remained safe and healthy. Last year in a bid to honor the front-line workers the Nation had come together on PM Modi’s behest to applaud their services by banging utensils and creating a clamor of appreciation for their undying efforts towards the needy COVID affected community. We are also aware of several tragedies where the nurses and doctors have contracted this deadly virus themselves while treating COVID patients and have lost their lives.
The Bachchans, especially Amitabh Bachchan have been subjected to a lot of criticism and trolling on account of not doing enough for the needy and the Covid affected. The superstar is visibly upset and agitated at these accusations, hence he said that although he was considerably embarrassed to do this, he put up a whole lot of his charitable activities so far, for the migrant workers and the COVID donation amounts and other resources and support that he has extended so far in this crisis.
