In recent times a series of unfortunate circumstances have befallen the Kapoor family. The demise of Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and COVID positive cases – Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and now Randhir Kapoor. He was detected as COVID positive on Thursday and was immediately admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital. It was also revealed that five of his staff members had also tested positive. The news of his illness had been broken by the actor himself and he then went on to inform that he will be shifted to the ICU unit of the Ambani hospital for more COVID-related tests.

The condition of Randhir Kapoor was not as critical to require ventilator or oxygen support but it was later confirmed that the actor was shivering and had to be shifted to the ICU. Randhir Kapoor took the opportunity of complimenting the hospital staff and Tina Ambani, saying that they were taking good care of him.

It is rumored that Randhir Kapoor was keen on selling the RK ancestral house in Chembur and was planning to shift residence and move closer to daughters Kareena and Karisma’s homes. Daughter Karisma has had a turbulent married life and is a divorcee living in Mumbai. Daughter Kareena is maintaining a good personal life and has recently given birth to her second son.
