It is normally said that the human mind is in control of what happens to our relationships, be it a family relationship be it with friends or our spouses and lovers, the mind is in control. The human mind is a complex entity and acts on various triggers. There are emotional, behavioral, and cognitive webs within the human mind. Each human mind is unique though and shares different experiences and emotions.
Relationships are valuable and can nourish us from within. Some individuals allow us to exist with them peacefully and harmoniously without any conflicts and it all stems in the mind. There are other relationships that emanate a lot of negativity and are difficult to cope with.
The human mind sometimes carries a lot of baggage from the past and is therefore unable to view certain relationships favorably. They are always compared to past experiences and are therefore based and evaluated according to that.
In some relationships, we hanker for love, praise, approval, and acceptance so we tend to expect that from people and when that doesn’t come through, we start using our mind and its power to think, and our relationships get affected accordingly.
Although relationships should be looked at as a whole, each human being is a significant part of the whole.
We must use our power to empathize to understand every human relationship that does not work and create self-awareness to try and make it work.
The more the mind comes into play the more concrete the answers emerge. When we set aside our emotions and impulse reactions and think and evaluate relationships, they stand a better chance of surviving and evolving.
Crucial relationships that suffer a breakdown need the power of the mind to evaluate them!
