After Lisa Marie passed away, Joel said she was “unequivocal and quite direct about who she wanted to have the legacy [left] to.”

“Riley and Ben were always up to no good. That they would be the guardians and share her perspective was something she had always assumed. At a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “Elvis Radio,” Riley admitted, “Obviously, when Ben went, that sat with Riley.”

Joel opened up about the Presleys, revealing that Elvis had always wanted his daughter Lisa Marie to carry on his work.

“After his death, Elvis gave his fortune to his daughter. He did it because he knew she would be the one to carry on his name and work. “The man made a statement.

“I can tell you that she has, without fail, no matter what else was occurring in her life, in her profession, always been the one to look at what was best for Elvis…regardless of what somebody else was trying to do, regardless of what another family member [was] trying to do,” said Presley’s manager.

On Lisa Marie’s birthday, Priscilla Presley spoke about how she hopes to “keep our family together” despite her ongoing grief.

“Lisa’s 55th birthday would have been today. To keep my three grandchildren safe and our family united is my greatest wish, “she disclosed to Fox News Digital. Priscilla Presley has filed paperwork to challenge the administration of her daughter’s estate, so her words make sense in context.

Legal paperwork challenging the legality of an adjustment made to Lisa Marie’s living trust in 2016 was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in January.

Joel elaborated, “sometimes you just had to take a position,” explaining why he decided to speak out against the Presley family.

“This is Riley. Lisa would have preferred this. It’s the logical thing to do. Whatever is best for Elvis ultimately wins out. “It was his suggestion, he said.

“We should remember her words on her special day. Those were not my words but hers; we should keep them in mind moving forward. Respect those who respect Elvis, and that has always meant Elvis’s daughter, Lisa.”
